Dear Readers,
A new year is once again here, and I hope that all of you are looking forward to writing success in 2023. What are your goals for the year? Will you start a new project and work on it for the entire year, or finish one that has been on the drawing board for months? Will you publish your first novel, or will it be your twentieth? Wherever you are in your writing career, I wish you all a fruitful year!
For 2023 I will be dedicating more time to my new responsibilities as Secretary on PPW’s board of directors, seeing through to the publication of PPW’s third anthology (coming this spring!), and lending a hand to two conferences. PPWC2023 is in Colorado Springs, CO April 27-30, and Left Coast Crime is holding their annual conference right down the street from me here in Tucson, AZ, March 16-19 2023.
The biggest change will come on January 1, 2023, when I hand the reins of the Managing Editor of Writing from the Peak over to Trista Herring Baughman. It has been a fun ride blogging with all of you over the past 4 years and you will be in good hands with Trista. I’m excited to see where she takes the blog so look for some changes (for the good of course) that you are going to love.
So, with this post, I bid you all a fond farewell and wish you all the best in 2023!
