Karin Huxman, writing as K.D. Huxman, is just tickled to announce that her teen non-fiction book, The Colorado Coal Field War: Massacre at Ludlow (Apprentice Shop Books), won a gold medal in the 2019 Independent Book Publishers Association Benjamin Franklin Awards and a bronze in the 2019 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. Huzzah! The book is available from Amazon and independent booksellers.
