Scott’s Brendel’s novel, JUST BEYOND THE LIGHT, recently took first place in the mainstream/literary/historical category of the 2020 Pikes Peak Writers Fiction Contest. His short stories have appeared in Read by Dawn, Volume 1; Subtle Edens, an anthology of slipstream fiction that was nominated for a 2009 British Fantasy Award; Day Terrors; Something Wicked, Volume 1; and Penumbra.
